Happy July 1st! On the first day of a new month, we always say this to each other. Ben, though, innocently exclaimed to Leesha this morning, “Happy Last Day of June!” He’s a day behind!
We just confirmed another date for July! On July 18th, you’ll find us at 6:30 p.m. singing at Zion Lutheran Church in Pine City for a evening concert. There will be a freewill offering for a young missionary going to the Far East. If you’re in the area, be sure to attend!
Please continue to pray for our family. Sam and Caleb have Jayme’s virus and, while we’re confident the boys will be better before our concert this Saturday, we do appreciate a few petitions on our behalf! We are looking forward to singing at First Presbyterian Church, Hinckley, MN (Saturday, July 3rd, 6:30 p.m), so pray for a good concert and that we would represent and glorify our Savior through our words, music, and lives.
Right now we are in the midst of preparing for family friends for this Sunday. We have let our home fall prey to dust-bunnies and are suffering the consequences (I will not go into further details!). We used to thoroughly clean our home each Saturday, but with our singing ministry and traveling, our exuberance for cleaning around the house has slacked off. :} So let’s just say, we’ve got a lot of work to do.
Ben is trying to create the next ministry update, so look for a new installment of our Great Adventure Ministry Update soon! (If you would like to receive our e-newsletters, please visit our website for more info.) I have given Ben charge of the newsletter, because I am frankly overwhelmed with many tasks (like finishing school) at this time. Let’s hope Ben isn’t as bad of a procrastinator as I am!
Well, have a SAFE, blessed, and refreshing Fourth of July!
Blessings and Joy in the Journey!
