Verse One
I have a reason for this smile on my face;
Sorrow that I had owned has been replaced.
Joy like I’ve never known now floods my days;
Gladness has turned around my sadness to praise.

Chorus
Oh, I am happy in Jesus, I’m happy in my Lord.
Happy in Jesus—His joy has been outpoured.
Rejoicing on my way; Happier every day,
Happy in Jesus, I’m happy in my Lord.

Verse Two
I have a reason for this hope in my soul:
Jesus delivered me from sin’s control.
I’ve found in Jesus everything is supplied;
Praise God, He’s all I need—I’m satisfied!

Happy in Jesus

Verse One
There’s nothing permanent about my residence down here.
I have no plans to stay around this land of pain and fear.
God’s invited me to come; He’s made it free and clear.
I have no guess to when He’ll call, except I think it’s near.

Chorus
I’m moving on, I’m leaving here,
Gonna say goodbye to what I’ve known and watch it disappear.
I’m rising up just when I hear
The call to finally come on home and see the Lord appear—
When I move on.

Verse Two
I’m looking forward to the day God wipes my final tear,
And when I listen to the songs not heard by mortal ear.
What a joy to be at home with my Redeemer near!
Excitement fills each step I take — I can’t wait to leave here.

When I Move On

Verse One
What God ordains is always good: His will is just and holy.
As He directs my life for me, I follow meek and lowly.
My God indeed in every need knows well how He will shield me;
To Him, then, I will yield me.

Verse Two
What God ordains is always good: He never will deceive me;
He leads me in His righteous way, and never will He leave me.
I take content what He has sent; His hand that sends me sadness
Will turn my tears to gladness.

Verse Three
What God ordains is always good: He is my friend and Father;
He suffers naught to do me harm though many storms may gather.
Now I may know both joy and woe; someday I shall see clearly
That He has loved me dearly.

Verse Four
What God ordains is always good: This truth remains unshaken.
Though sorrow, need, or death be mine, I shall not be forsaken.
I fear no harm, for with His arm He shall embrace and shield me;
So to my God I yield me.

What God Ordains is Always Good

Verse One
Generations before us lifted the standards high;
They fought for faith and freedom, fight or rather die.
Before us they’ve gone — now will we carry on?

Chorus
Arise to the call, don’t let the banner fall.
Be strong in the Lord, no compromise afford.
The truth should not be blurred; stand firm upon the Word:
Arise to the call!

Verse Two
The enemies of Jesus want us to fall and fail.
But God is looking for soldiers, ones who will prevail.
Will you join the fight, and with His troops unite?

Arise to the Call

Verse One
The people had gathered outside the king’s court
To hear what Isaiah would say
They’d broken the serpent and leveled the groves
And thrown all their idols away
They thought God would thank them for doing their part
Yet He looked past their deed to their heart.

Chorus
Forsake! Forsake!
The thoughts that would lead you away from the Lord
Forsake! Forsake!
The way that would bring you astray from His Word
Which path will you take, which choice will you make
From sin are you willing to break?
Forsake!

Verse Two
We carry our Bibles and offer our tithes
We vote the conservatives in
We’re standing for Israel, for marriage, and life
Ignoring our personal sin
We think God will thank us for doing our parts
Yet He looks past our deeds to our hearts

Forsake

Chorus
I know the end!
It’s news to make me whole
It’s joy to fill my soul,
It’s life to us my friend
I know the end!

Verse One
Imagine the disciples huddled in an upper room
You see the sleepless eyes and flowing tears
You’re hearing what they’re saying that the Lord has just been killed
Don’t you wish that you could whisper in their ears?

Verse Two
Imagine you are watching the Sanhedrin holding court
Saying, “Stephen stirs up trouble, spreading lies.”
Then the threats turn into actions and the stones begin to fly
Heaven’s standing open as he cries

Verse Three
Imagine you are banished to a distant Patmos mine
You’re worried Rome would stop the Gospel’s spread
When you went to John the Elder he was busy writing words
He put his parchment down and then he said

I Know the End

Chorus
For we are unworthy servants, tools for our Lord;
Used by the Spirit, we’re lips for His Word.
To Him be the glory for good you may see,
For we only are what He’s called us to be.

Verse One
Not to us, not to us be glory and praise;
Because of God’s love, our voices we raise.
We seek not our honor, great fortune or fame—
It’s our desire to lift up His name.

Unworthy Servants

Verse One
When Abel’s offering cost his life
When Moses struck the stone
When David stole Uriah’s wife
A lamb could not atone
But if they could have looked ahead in time
They’d see a spotless Lamb who took their crime

Chorus
When Jesus took the law’s decree
That said that I was lost
He carried it up Calvary
And nailed it to His cross

Verse Two
I stood before Mount Sinai
And heard God’s Holy Law
It showed me what I really was
I earned the wrath I saw
And when I heard the price I could not pay
Grace took me forward to another day

Bridge
And when my sins are read on judgment day
I will not plead a thing except to say (That…)

Nailed to His Cross

Verse One
We come today with open hands,
To let our needs be known;
For life, for health, for daily bread,
We look to You alone.

Verse Two
But when we ask for health and strength,
Sometimes we are denied.
But then in sickness and in health,
Your hand will still provide.

Chorus
We lose the things we think we need,
And yet, You bring us through,
Until the day we finally learn,
That all we need is You.

Verse Three
We know what we would like to have,
The future we have planned.
And yet Your plans are greater far
Than we can understand.

All We Need is You

Verse One
On the road from Bethany, Jesus stopped at a fig tree.
Hungry was the Son of God — He looked for fruit, yet found none.
He cursed the tree and it died; in amazement Peter cried,
“Look, Rabbi! The tree is dead!”  Jesus turned to him and said,

Chorus
Truly, truly, this is what I say to you,
If you believe, this is what you can do,
If you say to that mountain, "Throw yourself into the sea,"
And if you’ve asked the Lord in faith, watch, you shall receive.

Verse Two
O, people of the living God, the way we pray is so flawed!
Our courage and our strength is weak when we present things we seek.
God tells us to boldly ask for what we need in every task;
Each prayer of ours He will fulfill— according to His gracious will.

Truly

Verse One
We have been called to be children of God,
Into the fellowship of His dear Son;
Chosen, adopted, and saved by His grace —
In Christ we are now a new creation.

Chorus
We’re living the call, spreading the Word,
Sharing the Good News to those who have erred.
United in faith, to God we give all,
We have been chosen — we’re living the call.

Verse Two
In Jesus we have been redeemed by His blood,
Freed from our sinfulness, covered in love.
It is our joy now to call others too,
That hearts be encouraged with from hope above.

Bridge
Called by God, to be saved — our punishment has been waived.
We proclaim Jesus Christ, Whose life for us He sacrificed.

Living the Call

Verse One
You’ve prayed so many times it seems God has shut the door;
Your cries have gone up, but no blessings have been poured.
You ask God “Why? Is there no miracle for me?”
Friend, hold on and wait patiently.

Chorus
God is right on time to move a mountain with His hand.
He is never late — it’s just as He’s planned;
Yet God is never early, and He won’t move till surely
He is right on time to move a mountain with His hand.

Verse Two
I have often prayed and waited through the night,
Hoping for a miracle to free me from my plight.
Yet time after time my God has come through,
And this I can promise to you:

Bridge
God knows what we need and when we need it too;
He will never give what’s not ready for you.
